Nero is an Eglin Pet Welfare cat who is currently in foster care with one of our volunteers. Nero's kidneys are not working well and he is on Science Diet K/D and Epikitin. Nero needs a permanent foster home preferably with another cat(s) on the same diet or as the only cat.
Nero is a sweet, quiet and loving cat that was rescued from a high-kill facility. He does get along with other cats especially kittens but because of his dietary needs (and he sneaks the other cat's food which is very bad for him!) EPW needs to find a proper loving home that only has K/D available. Dr. Brightman at Brightman's Animal Clinic (Shalimar, FL) is confident Nero will have a normal cat life expectancy so long as he stays on his current diet.
