Directions to Eglin Pet Welfare

Eglin Pet Welfare is located on Eglin Air Force Base but is a private, non profit organization not affiliated, nor supported by the government or the military. The shelter is open to the public and military community. Government employees have vehicle stickers and identification that allows them access to Eglin AFB. Civilian that are not associated with the government and do not have access to Eglin are still able to gain access and visit the shelter.

Due to increased security at Eglin AFB, all individuals not authorized access to the base must have an escort to visit the shelter. Please contact us at 678-5066 (during shelter adoption hours) to make arrangements for one of our staff to meet you at the east gate (Valparaiso).

You will need to have ready:
- Drivers license
- Proof of vehicle registration
- Proof of vehicle insurance
